The series of works "Jinksy" explores the properties of artists' pigments. The color strength of these pigments in as pristine a state as possible and in abstracted forms reminiscent of landscapes thus contrast with the historical picture frames. The name of the series is derived from the surname of an artist friend, Adajinsky and the word "Jinx", which refers to the superstition according to which the pronouncement of a certain event can cause it to cease to occur.
